Welcome to the official website of Stephanie Flores for Washoe County School Board District A! Stephanie is a Registered Nurse, wife, and Foster Parent. She recently became interested in running for the School Board after making the plunge into foster parenthood. While navigating the Washoe County School system she found the lack of resources and support have made a detrimental impact on her foster children's education. Her concern grew as she realized the strain on students from underfunded schools and over worked teachers could be seen in many of the schools throughout the district. But in considering the situation at hand, she realized that she could sit around and complain about it, or she could set out to make a difference! Her goal is to empower Students, Parents, and Teachers with the resources for success!
